Dr. Keith Metzger obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry – UT Health Science Center, Houston, Texas. He started his dental practice in Hurst in 1990, and he relocated his practice to Colleyville in 2002.
Dr. Metzger is a native from the DFW area, and he grew up in Hurst, Texas. After graduating from L.D. Bell High School, Dr. Metzger attended the University of North Texas in Denton, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.
Community involvement is important to Dr. Metzger, and he enjoys supporting local youth programs, Boy Scouts of America troops, dental mission trips, and school booster clubs. He has participated in three Dental Mission efforts in Honduras as a part of a dental mission team serving many small villages near Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. In addition, he is a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scouts Association.
Dr. Metzger has recently joined the dental staff for the Mission Health Dental Clinic in Fort Worth, a free dental clinic affiliated with White's Chapel Methodist Church. Additionally, Dr. Metzger has served on the dental staff for the Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) mobile dental clinic. Through this clinic, supported by the Texas Dental Association (TDA) Smiles Foundation, Dr. Metzger has provided free dental services to patients in Houston and other cities in Texas.
When he is not at the office, Dr. Metzger enjoys freshwater and saltwater fishing, attending Texas Ranger Baseball games and spending time with his wife, Melanie, and their “young-adult” children, Stephanie (and husband, Jared) and Kyle.
